Welcome to my profile, thanks for stopping by! I'm the Founder and Lead Advisor of Optometry Wealth Advisors - a financial planning firm just for optometrists nationwide. While I love serving ODs in different career settings, I'm especially excited to serve at that critical intersection between practice finance and personal finances. I began my career in financial services with one of the well-known huge, national insurance/broker-type companies. Seeing the conflicts involved and the focus on product sales instead of excellent advice, I knew there was a better way to serve clients. With that in mind, I went on to join a fantastic independent financial planning firm that focused on providing great financial advice for their clients. However, with a passion for helping business owners and fascination for the optometrist profession and your practices, and how the financial health of your businesses affects your personal finances, I felt there was still a better way. The needs of ODs, especially practice owners, just didn't seem to be fully met by most financial advisory firms. There was still something missing. So, I went on to start Optometry Wealth Advisors. I'm a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER¨ professional and a Certified Student Loan Professional¨. I'm excited and fascinated by the financial decisions optometrists have to navigate as you put your time and energy into taking care of your patients, family, and community. I'm excited by everything involved in cold-starting or buying into, growing, managing, and eventually exiting an optometry practice. As a professional service business owner, I know how hard it is to just be an excellent practitioner. I look forward to talking with you!
